SharqStor FS 2120

Overview

The SharqStor FS 2120 is a 2U FC(2G) to SATA RAID array subsystem designed for connection to a host fibre channel HBA or SAN fabric. The FS 2120 is an ideal option for entry level direct attached storage applications or scalable SAN installations and OS virtualization.

SharqSTor [FD]S 2120

  • 2U Chassis
  • 12 SATA-II Drive Bays
  • Dual FC-2G Ports

The subsystem provides two FC-2G host channels with 12 drive bays for SATA-II disk drives in a smartly managed enclosure. The subsystem combines massive storage capacity with SATA-II benefits, such as high performance and dedicated bandwidth, in a safe environment where the highest level of data availability is assured. High throughput is available by segregating I/O traffic across the separate PCI-X buses, while IOPS performance is delivered through the internal buffer on the XOR engine and CPU with the help of intelligent firmware algorithms.

Key Features

  • Two (2) FC-2G host channels; transfer rate up to 200MBps per channel
  • RAID5 configuration end-to-end I/O performance
